The invention belongs to the headset connector structure technical field and provides a headset connector and a mobile electronic device with the same. The headset connector includes an insulating shell and a terminal group connected with the insulating shell; a jack into which a headset plug can be plugged is formed in the insulating shell; the terminal group comprises a first channel micro contact sheet which abuts against the headset plug when the headset plug is plugged into the jack; the terminal group further comprises a detection sheet; when the headset plug is plugged into the jack, the detection sheet abuts against the headset plug and is in conduction with the first channel micro contact sheet through the headset plug; and the detection sheet and the first channel micro contact sheet are oppositely arranged. The mobile electronic device comprises the headset connector. According to the headset connector and the mobile electronic device with the same provided by the invention, the detection sheet and the first channel micro contact sheet are oppositely arranged, and a detection structure is of a normally-open structure; and a first channel is provided with a normally-open switch structure, and therefore, the size of the connector can be decreased, and a product can be light and thin.
