Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a vibration damper for a motor vehicle, which includes at least one cylinder tube with a longitudinal extension axis (A) and a support spring (2), wherein the support spring (2) has a first end portion (3) and a second end portion (4). The support spring surrounds the cylinder tube (1) in circumferential direction and is axially supported by the first end portion (3) indirectly at a supporting device of the motor vehicle with respect to the longitudinal extension axis (A) of the cylinder tube. The support spring (2) is axially supported by its second end portion (4) at the cylinder tube (1) of the vibration damper. The cylinder tube (1) has a spring disk (5) which is formed integral with the cylinder tube, is formed out of the cylinder tube, and has a supporting surface (6) for an end coil (7) of the support spring.
