Zusammenfassung:The invention provides a very fast transient overvoltage (VFTO) simulating experiment system and method of a series compensation platform. The VFTO simulating experiment system comprises a direct-current power supply, a disconnecting switch, a simulating series compensation device and a simulating grounding wire; one end of the direct-current power supply is grounded and while the other end of the direct-current power supply is connected with the simulating series compensation device through the disconnecting switch, wherein the simulating series compensation device is grounded through the simulating grounding wire. The VFTO simulating experiment system and method of the series compensation platform have the advantages that the wiring mode and operating mode similar to the modes in the actual working conditions can be provided, and an experimental loop is simple and flexible; the overvoltage produced by gap breakdown can be effectively simulated; and the simulation calculation result and the accuracy and effectiveness of the conducted voltage limiting measures can be verified by test, so that the characteristics of the VFTO can be mastered well.
