The external lubricating oil filter is composed of a filter shell (1), a paper filter core (2), a mounting plate (3) and a guide plate assembly (4); the mounting plate (3) sleeves the filter shell (1), and the paper filter core (2) is extruded in a cavity formed through the filter shell (1) and the guide plate assembly (4); the guide plate assembly (4) is composed of a guide plate shell (5) and a guide plate (6), wherein the guide plate (6) is in interference fit with the guide plate shell (5) through four uniformly distributed small sections, and four gaps remain between the guide plate and the guide plate shell (5); the guide plate assembly (4) is in interference fit with the filter shell (1), and the inner head face is propped against the paper filter core (2). The external lubricating oil filter is obvious in effect, capable of purifying the lubricating oil, prolonging the use period of the lubricating oil, lowering the vehicle use and maintenance cost, lowering the impurity content in an axle assembly and reducing the abrasion and damage to key components such as gears, oil seals and the like, and is convenient to mount and change.
