Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a potato sprout inhibiting method using Siberian Sorbus pohuashanensis extract. The potato sprout inhibiting method uses Siberian Sorbus pohuashanensis branches and prepares the Siberian Sorbus pohuashanensis extract by conventional method. By spraying the extracts on potatoes, the potato sprouts can be inhibited in the storage time. The Siberian Sorbus pohuashanensis extract is green, environmental, non-polluting and non-toxic, does not pollute fruits and vegetables, human and environment, and is easy to find raw materials. If the extract is made into wettable powder and administrated with other bioinhibitors, the inhibition of potato sprouts would be better. The Siberian Sorbus pohuashanensis extract can not only inhibit potato sprout, but also has a significant inhibitory effect on wheat and barley sprouts. Furthermore, the Siberian Sorbus pohuashanensis extract can effectively prevent mold growth, reduce rot disease incidence. The potato sprout inhibiting method is applicable in region with a drier climate.
