The connection pin comprises an elongated conducting structure, which is partly enclosed by an insulating support structure. The conducting structure comprises a dampening resistor, and the fuse and resistor device further comprises a fuse connected with the dampening resistor either as a separate part or as an integral part of the conducting structure.
