Zusammenfassung:The invention provides a pre-detection tracking method for a space-time adaptive processing (STAP) radar, belongs to the technical field of radar target tracking, and in particular relates to the technical field of dim target detecting and tracking of the STAP radars. The method comprises the following steps: calculating and counting STAP covariance matrixes by utilizing all distance units at all frames; calculating the weight of each distance unit at each frame during calculating and counting the STAP covariance matrix; estimating and counting the STAP covariance matrixes again through the distance unit at each frame, corresponding to the weight less than the average weight of the frame; then calculating the detecting counting quantity corresponding to each distance unit at each frame to form a new data plane; finally updating the value function for the new distance unit of the new data plane, so as to obtain the target track. The method has the effect that the estimation performance loss can be decreased, and thus the detecting and tracking accuracy and real-time performance can be improved while the calculating quantity is decreased.
