A measuring mechanism used for measuring the steel rail straightness is arranged on the measuring trolley. A plurality of parallel slide rails which are transversely arranged are arranged on the machine frame. A transversely-moving beam arranged in the longitudinal direction is arranged on the slide rails and is connected with the slide rails in a sliding mode. A transversely-moving mechanism for making the transversely-moving beam transversely move on the slide rails is arranged on the machine frame. Automatic lifting mechanisms for making the measuring ruler frame do vertical movement are arranged at the two ends of the transversely-moving beam.
