The semiconductor refrigeration system comprises a controller, a temperature sensor and a refrigeration unit, wherein the temperature sensor and the refrigeration unit are connected to the controller. The refrigeration unit comprises an energy storage device, a semiconductor refrigeration apparatus and a solar cell for powering the energy storage device and the semiconductor refrigeration apparatus. The controller controls the power and temperature regulation. The semiconductor refrigeration system is powered by the solar energy or the energy storage device to achieve the intelligent control and regulate of the temperature of the refrigeration unit and obtain the temperature difference of both ends of a refrigeration piece at different current and the condition of the change of the average temperature in a cabinet with the working hours of the refrigeration piece.
