Zusammenfassung:A component (100) and a method of cooling a component (100) are provided. The component (100) includes a leading edge (110), a trailing edge (112), at least one cavity (200) between the leading edge (110) and the trailing edge (112), and at least one diffusion member (130) adjacent to the cavity (200). The diffusion member (130) includes an inlet (210) adjacent to the cavity (200), a metering zone (220) adjacent to the inlet (210), a diffusion zone (230) adjacent to the metering zone (220), and an outlet (240) adjacent to the diffusion zone (230) and adjacent to the trailing edge (112). The diffusion member (130) provides up to about 70% reduction in flow and uniform cooling of the trailing edge of the component (100).
