Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a time delay testing system of an image transmitting system. The time delay testing system comprises a digital DVD, an image transmitter, an image receiver, a plurality of video collecting cards, a cache, a matching device and a time delay calculating and result displaying device. The digital DVD is connected with the image transmitter which is connected with the image receiver. The digital DVD is further connected with the video collecting card I which is connected with the cache. The image receiver is connected with the video collecting card II which is connected with the matching device. The cache is connected with the matching device which is further connected with the time delay calculating and result displaying device. The invention further discloses a method for testing the time delay testing system with the image transmitting system. By means of the digital image matching method, the accuracy of a time delay test of the image transmitting system is improved, and test errors are reduced through an average algorithm; test software is developed, and therefore testing operation is easy, and testing efficiency is improved.
