The invention discloses a Chinese herbal medicinal sheep tick resisting agent which is prepared from Chinese herbal medicinal radix stemonae, Chinaberry bark and artemisia apiacea at the ratio of 2 to 2 to 1 by mass. The preparation method comprises the following steps: weighing and mixing radix stemonae, Chinaberry bark and artemisia apiacea at the ratio of 2 to 2 to 1 by mass to obtain 200-500 parts by mass of a traditional Chinese medicinal preparation, soaking the traditional Chinese medicinal preparation in 2500-3000 parts by mass of water, decocting in water once for 30min, filtering, and adding water which is 5 times as much as the amount of medicines in parts by weight until the filter residue is covered, boiling for 30min and filtering once again, mixing and concentrating the obtained filtrates to 2.0g/ml, finally bottling, sterilizing for 30min under high pressure at 116 DEG C and refrigerating. The sheep tick resisting agent disclosed by the invention is used in a way of being sprayed to a sheep or is used as a Chinese herbal medicinal bath.
