Zusammenfassung:	A processing step planning device characterized by having: a means for assisting in the preparation of a processing step plan by displaying/evaluating the number of duplicate processing machines used in the same processing order at the time of planning a processing step; a means for selecting processing steps that maximize a productivity indicator such as the production ratio; a means that creates a production plan on the basis of the selected processing steps; a means for performing iterative improvement so as to maximize the productivity indicator with respect to the created production plan; and a means for reselecting processing steps by means of an input means and recalculating the production plan, if there is a need for revision with respect to a computation result when the computation result has been checked, by means of an output means, by the person formulating the plan.
