Link status synchronization method and device

The invention provides a link status synchronization method and a device. The method is applied to an SDN (Self-Defending Network) controller in an SDN network. The method comprises the following steps: receiving link status information reported by first network forwarding equipment with link change, constructing a link updating message according to the link status information, and sending the link updating message to second network forwarding equipment and enabling the link status value to be updated in a link statustableby the second network forwarding equipment, wherein the link status information comprises the link status value after link change. The link updating massage can be rapidly flooded in link change, so that the network convergence rate can be improved.
