Method and device for displaying images in web page in browser

The invention discloses a method for displaying images in a web page in a browser, and relates to the technical field of browsers. The method comprises the following steps of monitoring an event of suspending a mouse over image elements on the web page; if the event is monitored, obtaining a second image corresponding to a first image in the image elements; creating a window, and loading the second image to the window for display. By using the method and a device for displaying the images in the web page in the browser, the second image having the same display content with the first image in the web page can be directly displayed in the browser window, the self displaying structure of the web page is not changed, and a display interface like a photo album is not clicked; therefore, a user can clearly and completely check the content of images, the user operation is simple, the regular browsing of the user to the web page is not influenced, and the images are displayed in a lightweight maximization manner.
