Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a method for measuring surface stress of toughened glass. The method comprises the following steps: a test instrument is utilized to pre-measure a clear step figure of the toughened glass observed in an eyepiece view field of the test instrument and the height d of the measured step, and the instrumental constant K is multiplied by the height d of the measured step to obtain the surface stress value of the toughened glass. With adoption of the method, the surface stress value of the toughened glass can be effectively measured, a higher measurement accuracy is achieved, and the method is simple to operate, high in measurement efficiency, and suitable for surface stress measurement of toughened glass used on buildings.
