Elevator system

The invention discloses an elevator system. The elevator system comprises a shaft, cage guide rails, counterweight guide rails, a cage, a counterweight, a driving device and a traction rope, wherein the cage guide rails and the counterweight guide rails are arranged inside the shaft; the cage is arranged inside the shaft and is guided by the cage guide rails; cage pulleys are arranged on the cage; the counterweight is arranged inside the shaft and is guided by the counterweight guide rails; a counterweight pulley is arranged on the counterweight; the driving device comprises a driving main body and a driving wheel in transmission connection with the driving main body; the driving main body is connected with the counterweight guide rails and the cage guide rails through a connecting device; seen down from the shaft, the driving wheel is positioned between a connecting line of the counterweight guide rails and the side wall of the cage; the driving main body is more far from the cage relative to the driving wheel; the traction rope is wound onto the cage pulleys, the driving wheel and the counterweight pulley, and achieves lifting of the cage and the counterweight under the action of the driving wheel. The elevator system can effectively reduce the height of the shaft and solve safety problems caused thereby.
