Battery pack safety detection circuit and detection method

The invention provides a battery pack safety detection circuit. The battery pack safety detection circuit comprises a switch unit and a first controller, wherein the switch unit comprises a tank cover switch, and a maintenance switch auxiliary contact switch or a high-voltage connector auxiliary contact switch or a series circuit of combination of the maintenance switch auxiliary contact switch and the high-voltage connector auxiliary contact switch; the first output end of the first controller is connected to one end of the switch unit, the first input end of the first controller is connected to the other end of the switch unit, and the first controller is used for judging whether a series circuit has a fault or not according to comparison of signals from the first output end and the first input end of the first controller. According to the battery pack safety detection circuit, accurate switching information can be provided for a battery management system so as to ensure the safety of a whole unit of an automobile as well as drivers and passengers.
