The image searching method includes after an input query graph is received, extracting visual features of the query graph; distinguishing similarity between the visual features of the query graph and visual features of each image in an image database; determining category information and/or description information to which the query graph belongs according to category information and/or description information of a business object corresponding to an image whose similarity to the query graph meets a preset condition; searching according to the query graph and the determined category information and/or description information to which the query graph belongs, and returning a searching result. By the method, information like category of the images can be acquired, and dependence on user interaction is reduced.
