An elevator control device according to the embodiment mode comprises a measuring value acquisition portion (42), a mean consumption power quantity calculation portion (44) and an operation control portion (46). The measuring value acquisition portion (42) acquires a consumption power measuring value of the whole building provided with an elevator with a preset time interval. The mean consumption power quantity calculation portion (44) calculates mean consumption power quantity per unit time from the consumption power measuring value of the whole building in a preset period with a preset time interval. The operation control portion (46) controls a lift car of the elevator to move to a preset floor and stops the elevator when the calculated mean consumption power quantity exceeds a preset first threshold value, and relieves the stop state of the elevator and returns the motor to a normal operation state after the elevator stops when the mean consumption power quantity is inferior to a second threshold value inferior to the first threshold value.
