Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a method for controlling an ink feeding unit of a printing press with at least one ink metering element, an ink feeding device, and a control unit, wherein the ink metering element is switched from a first paint quantity dosing to a second paint quantity dosing for reaching a target color and the ink metering element is temporarily adjusted to a third ink amount metering by the control unit within at least for a period of time before reaching the target coloring during the transient phase of the ink feeding unit, the duration of the temporary third color metering is determined according to the lift cycle of the ink feeding device.
