Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a hydraulic excavator which can inhibit weight reduction of a counter weight and properly configure an exhaust-gas disposal device. A back leg part (180) configured to support the exhaust-gas disposal device on a leg part of a rotating frame comprises a main body part (180m) with a U-shaped cross section; the opening side of the U-shaped main body part (180m) faces the counter weight (5). The counter weight (5) is provided with a pair of groove-like concave parts (52, 53) in which a pair of front end parts (182, 183) of the U-shaped main body part (180m) are inserted respectively.
