Method and device for performing graphical display on multiple characteristic dimensions of network video object

The invention discloses a method and a device for performing graphical display on multiple characteristic dimensions of a network video object. The method comprises the following steps: determining N characteristic dimensions of the network video object, and generating coplanar N rays, which share the same original point and are equal in unit length but different in direction, respectively according to all the characteristic dimensions; obtaining the quantization value of each characteristic value of the network video object, and determining the position, on the corresponding ray, of each quantization value according to the corresponding relation between the unit length of the rays and the quantization values; connecting positions which correspond to the quantization values between the adjacent rays. According to the method and the device disclosed by the invention, the graphical display is performed on all the characteristic dimensions of the network video object according to the quantization values of all the characteristic dimensions, and therefore the characteristic of each characteristic dimension of the network video object can be visually reflected, and the characteristic serves as decision information for a user to acquire the network video object.
