The invention discloses an externally corrugated plastic tube structure wall pipe and a production method thereof. The pipe comprises a pipe body and hollow reinforcing ribs, rectangular sheets are helically wound to form the pipe body, the hollow reinforcing ribs are helically wound on the gaps between the neighboring rectangular sheets, each hollow reinforcing rib comprises two specially shaped corrugated tubes and a rib sheet, the two specially shaped corrugated tubes are close to each other and are fused together, so that a reinforcing rib with two side-by-side cavities is formed and a standing internal reinforcing rib which is perpendicular to the pipe wall is formed at the central fused part of the reinforcing rib, and after being wrapped by the rib sheets, the reinforcing ribs are helically wound on the gaps between the neighboring rectangular sheets, so that the hollow reinforcing ribs are formed. Thus the product produced by the method has light weight and high ring stiffness and strength, and moreover, the ratio between the width and height of the hollow reinforcing rib of the product produced by the method can be less than 1 and the height of the hollow reinforcing rib can reach 10 percent of the diameter of the wall pipe. The invention solves the problems existing in ordinary wound corrugated pipes.
