The invention relates to a rail for movement of seats in a vehicle. The rail comprises a support rail, wherein the support rail is provided with a groove for mounting a plurality of seats, the two sides of the groove are respectively provided with a fixing through hole which penetrates through the upper part and lower part of the support rail, and the longitudinal cross section of the groove is in an U shape or a semi-arch shape. The rail has the advantages that when the seats in the vehicle are not fully loaded, the back vacant seats can be moved backwards and leaned together along the rail, and the front seats on which passengers sit are properly moved backwards along the rail, so the usable space of the passengers is increased, and the comfortability of the passengers is improved; when the rail is arranged in a passenger vehicle, the integral comfortability of the passenger vehicle, and the recognition of the passengers and the competitiveness of the passenger vehicle can be improved, so the better economic benefits are realized.
