Zusammenfassung:	An image processing device is characterized by being equipped with: a means for inputting at least two parallax images including subject images in first and second viewpoint directions, said subject images being captured through one optical system; a means for calculating the arithmetic and geometric means between the images in the first and second viewpoint directions at each pixel; a means for calculating the ratio between the arithmetic and geometric means at each pixel; and a means for, based on the ratio, calculating the parallax amount between the images in the first and second viewpoint directions for each pixel.
