The electronic equipment can run one or more application programs, and the application programs can be presented on the display unit of the electronic equipment in a non-full screen window mode. The method comprises the following steps: determining M non-full screen windows in a first state from N non-full screen windows presented on the display unit based on a preset first rule, wherein N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 1, and M is a positive integer greater than or equal to 1 and smaller than or equal to N; further obtaining the duration time information of the M non-full screen windows in the first state; correspondingly adjusting the display parameters of the M non-full screen windows based on the duration time information respectively. Meanwhile, the invention further discloses the electronic equipment.
