The present invention relates to a navigation apparatus, which comprises a human-machine interface, a remote service unit, a navigation unit and an application program interface, wherein the human-machine interface is provided for human-machine interaction and business operation, the remote service unit generates a calling request based on the service request transmitted by the human-machine interface and transmits to the navigation unit, and is further provided for acquiring remote service/content from communication network based on the service request and feeds back to the human-machine interface, the navigation unit performed a navigation treatment based on the calling request and feeds back the navigation treatment result to the remote service unit, the application program interface is provided for transmitting signaling and/or data between the human-machine interface and the remote service unit and between the remote service unit and the navigation unit, the signaling comprises the service request and the calling request, and the data comprises the remote service/content and the navigation treatment result. With the navigation apparatus of the present invention, the reusability and the compatibility of the development are enhanced, and the development resources are saved.
