Fetal monitoring method and system

The invention discloses a fetal monitoring method and system. The fetal monitoring system comprises a central station and at least one portable fetal monitor in wireless network connection with the central station, the central station records calling voice to form second voice data and transmits the second voice data to the called portable fetal monitors, the portable fetal monitors display acquired physiological information of fetus and/or pregnant women, record calling voice to form first voice data and transmit the same to be displayed, played or processed in the central station. The fetal monitoring method includes that the portable fetal monitors transmit the acquired physiological information of the fetus and/or the pregnant women and the recorded first voice data calling the central station to the central station for displaying, playing and/or processing via the wireless network; the fetal monitors receive and play the second voice data recorded by the central station and calling the portable fetal monitors. The bidirectional calling function of the fetal monitoring system provides communication channels for doctors and examinees, management is facilitated, and safety and system operating efficiency of the mobile fetal monitors are improved.
