Rectangular electric connector assembly and plug and socket thereof

The invention relates to a rectangular electric connector assembly and a plug and socket thereof. The plug and the socket are provided with a plug body and a socket body respectively, the front ends of which are plug ends respectively. The plug body is provided with an installation hole, of which the axis extends along the front and back direction, wherein the installation hole is rotatably provided with a locking rod capable of axially moving. The plug body comprises an axial limitation structure which is in limitation cooperation with the locking rod to limit the front and back movement limitation of the locking rod along the axial direction. The locking rod is provided with a torque input end. The periphery surface of the front end of the locking rod is provided with at least one curved groove, of which the axis extends along the front and back direction. The curved groove has a clamp nail entrance arranged at the front end surface of the locking rod. The socket body is provided with a locking hole for the front end of the locking rod to insert. The hole wall of the locking hole is provided with clamp nails in screw guiding cooperation with the corresponding curved grooves. The invention provides the rectangular electric connector assembly which is capable of fast inserting and the plug and the socket used in the rectangular electric connector assembly.
