Evaporator leak detection system and leak detection method

The invention provides an evaporator system leak detection and leak detection method. The evaporator leak detection system includes a vacuumizing device which is connected with an evaporator and is used for vacuumizing the evaporator to a predetermined vacuum degree, a refrigerant perfusion machine which is connected with the evaporator and is used for perfusing a refrigerant to the evaporator, and a detection mechanism which is connected with the evaporator and detects whether leakage exists on the evaporator. With the evaporator system leak detection and leak detection method of the invention adopted, hydrolysis reaction of residual steam and the refrigerant in a refrigerant pipeline after refrigerant perfusion can be effectively avoided, so that acidic substances will not be generated, and therefore, a formicary corrosion phenomenon can be avoided, and the service life of the evaporator can be prolonged, and the qualified rate of air conditioners can be improved.
