According to the method, a mode that seedlings are planted and cultivated in containers and the containers are placed in a nutrition pool to be soaked is adopted for cultivation, a traditional seedling type of walnut afforestation is changed; compared with bare-rooted seedlings, the container seedlings have the advantages that seedling quality can be improved, the afforestation survival rate is increased, and afforestation can be conducted in four seasons of a year; the walnut container seedlings are cultivated in a water culture mode, a seedling cultivation field does not need to be alternated, and management can be standardized and refined.
