Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a dispensing device (14) for metering and dispensing a predetermined number of multi particulates from a container. The dispensing device comprises a chamber (20) which includes an inlet (22) through which multiparticulates can enter the chamber (20) and an overflow (24) through which multiparticulates can leave the chamber. There is also an outlet (28) through which multiparticulates can be dispensed from the chamber (20). The chamber (20) comprises a metering surface (30) which includes at least one retaining portion (32). The, or each, of the retaining portions (32) is configured to be able to releasably retain a single multiparticulate.
