An accumulating part structure for a regenerative burner provided with a casing 4 that accommodates an accumulating member 3 in a gas passage 1 for a burner in which a combustion air and exhaust gas flow alternately, the accumulating member heating the combustion air with a heat collected from the exhaust gas, the accumulating part structure including shelves 14 provided in the casing, the shelves creating a central region CA where the combustion air and exhaust gas flow through the accumulating member and a peripheral region OA around the central region which prevents the combustion air and exhaust gas from flowing through the accumulating member located near an inner surface 9a of the casing.
