Elevator safety system

The present invention provides an elevator safety system. The elevator safety system comprises a pulse generation device mounted on a speed controller and used for detecting the position of an elevator car; a floor detection plate arranged at multiple parts of a lifting channel respectively; an elevator car position sensor arranged on the elevator car and used for detecting the floor detection plate; and a security controller used for the input of the output signals of both the pulse generation device and the elevator car position sensor. The upper end portion and the lower end portion of the lifting channel are respectively provided with a detection plate for detecting end floors. The elevator car is provided with an end floor detection device used for detecting the detection plate for detecting end floors. The measuring operation treatment part of the security controller is capable of figuring out the relationship between the positions of the detection plates for detecting end floors, and the output signals of the pulse generation device, according to the detection signals of the end floor detection device, the detection signals of the elevator car position sensor and the output signals of the pulse generation device.
