Wireless sensor network clustering method based on edge betweenness

The present invention presents a wireless sensor network clustering method based on edge betweenness on the basis of a wireless sensor network having a topological structure with a certain organizational structure characteristic. The process of the method is that: clustering network nodes utilizing a method based on edge betweenness in a cluster structure discovering process. The method introduces edge betweeness into clustering division and performs clustering on network nodes, obtaining optimal clustering network. In a small network (mainly for the wireless sensor network), with balanced energy consumption, the method can not only obtain a clustering network with a relatively good reliability, but also avoid the appearance of isolated nodes; furthermore, the network has a better structure after using optimal clustering, thereby ensuring the reliability of network, reducing network energy consumption and extending the life cycle of the network.
