Reagent preparation support equipment comprises: reagent kit information storage means that stores as data, in respect of a reagent kit that is employed for specimen analysis, the amount of reagents required for a single analysis and the composition of the reaction liquid to be prepared; an input unit that inputs the number of specimens to be analysed and designates the reagent kit to be used; reagent amount calculation means that calls from the reagent kit information storage means data relating to the reagent kit that was input from the input unit, and calculates the necessary amount of reagent contained in the reagent kit and the reaction liquid composition in accordance with the number of samples that was input by the input unit; and a display unit that displays as a reagent preparation table the necessary amounts of reagent included in this reagent kit and the reaction liquid composition to be prepared, based on the results of the calculation by the reagent amount calculation means.
