Zusammenfassung:	A detergent comprises low mol.wt. poly organosiloxane(s) from a straight chain polyorganosiloxane of formula (I) and a cyclic polyorganosiloxane of formula (II). In the formulae: R1 = (substd.) monovalent organic gp.; l = 0-5, and m = 3-7. The compsn. pref. comprises water, surfactants and polyorganosiloxane which contains polyoxyalkylene gp.; where at least one siloxane unit of formula (III) is present in the molecule, where R2 = alkyl or phenyl, A = polyoxyalkylene more pref. -R3-(-OR4-)n-OR5. R3 = 1-8C alkylene, 4-10C beta-hydroxypropylene oxyalkylene, or polymethylene oxyalkylene; R4 = 2-4C alkylene; R5 = H or a monovalent terminal gp.; and n = integer.
