Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a solid welding stick for gas-shielded arc welding of high-strength steel. In welding of 780MPa-level high-strength steel by the aid of the solid welding stick, welding seam metal having proper strength and having excellent and stable tenacity in a low-temperature area in particular can be obtained, and welding operability is excellent. The solid welding stick is characterized by including, by percentage of total quality of the welding stick, 0.02-0.10% of C, 0.20-0.55% of Si, 1.50-1.95% of Mn, 0.15-0.45% of Cu, 2.7-3.2% of Ni, 0.35-0.65% of Cr, 0.15-0.40% of Mo and 0.02-0.10% of Ti, wherein in the following formula, Pts is 0.73-0.95, and the formula 1 Pts=[C]+[Si]/7+[Mn]/5+[Cu]/7+[Ni]/20+[Cr]/8+[Mo]/2+[Ti]/5.
