Solitary wave demonstration instrument

The present invention relates to a mechanical device used for simulating a non-linear solitary wave. A solitary wave demonstration instrument is characterized in that a plurality of same physical pendulums sleeve on a steel central shaft equidistantly via bearings, the bottoms of the adjacent pendulums are coupled by spring hinges, and a speed adjustable motor is connected with one end of the central shaft via a shaft coupling to drive the shaft to rotate, thereby reducing the friction. The whole set of device is arranged on a stable support, the generation and propagation of the solitary wave can be simulated by just applying an initial impulse to any one physical pendulum, and the simulation range comprises the kink solution, the anti-kink solution and the breather solution of the solitary wave.
