The method comprises the following steps that: a file writing command is received; whether a file to be written in the file writing command is a database file or not is judged; when the file to be written is the database file, if new storage spaces need to be allocated for the file to be written, continuous storage space blocks capable of storing contents of the file to be written are found in a storage medium associated with a file system; the found continuous storage spaces are allocated to the file to be written; and the contents of the file to be written are stored into the found continuous storage space blocks. The file system optimizing method and the file system optimizing device have the advantage that the processing efficiency of the database files can be improved.
