Method for treating volatile organic compounds by barrier corona shower discharge

The invention discloses a method for treating volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by barrier corona shower discharge. The method comprises the steps that an electrode board is connected with a high-voltage power supply; corona discharge is formed between electrode nozzles and the electrode board; a corona zone is generated; wet air is supplied to a positive pole and a negative pole of the electrode board via a wet air supply pipe to reach the electrode nozzles; the wet air serves as electrode gas, directly showers, enters the corona zone, and then is dissociated into active free radicals; VOCs-containing to-be-treated gas is supplied to a barrier channel via a VOCs-containing to-be-treated gas supply pipe; the active free radicals and the VOCs perform chemical reaction; the VOCs are efficiently degraded into harmless gas; and the removal efficiency can reach above 90%.
