The invention provides a method for realizing the input method of a server through a mobile phone. The method specifically comprises the following steps: communication is performed between the server and the mobile phone so as to establish the connection between the mobile phone and the server; and the input information at the mobile phone side is transferred to the server side in the form of a network to complete the input at the mobile phone side for being shared with the server side. The invention further provides a device for realizing the input method of a server through a mobile phone. According to the invention, the perfect lexicon of the mobile phone side input method is utilized to realize the sharing between the mobile phone side and the server side input method; the flexible switching of the input of multiple servers at the mobile phone side can be realized; the mobile input of the server side can be realized; and the utilization of users can be facilitated.
