The invention also provides a method for preparing forest musk deer forage grass. The method is used for controlling the mass content of total flavone in forage grass to be 4-7%. The technology is used for performing comprehensive measurement and analysis on the flavone content in the forest musk deer forage grass for the first time, and determining the optimal flavone proportion range in forest musk deer feed according to the flavone content taken by the forest musk deer from the forage grass in different seasons for the first time. Through the technical scheme, the determined total flavone content according to the invention is proved to be the optimal content of total flavone in a formula feed during artificial feeding of the forest musk deer; under such conditions, the forest musk deer can obtain effective nutrient sources, and the optimal living and growth of the forest musk deer can be ensured.
