The method includes the following steps: recording first reference time when receiving a first instruction corresponding to video data acquisition; sending a second instruction corresponding to audio data acquisition; responding to the first instruction to acquire video data from the first reference time to preset time; receiving audio data corresponding to the second instruction; synchronously processing the video data and the audio data according to the preset time. By the method and the device, the situation that sounds lag relatively to images in the process of video call can be prevented, and image and sound synchronization during video call is realized.
