| Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a treatment method for sulfur as a byproduct generated in an ethyl chloride production process. The treatment method comprises the steps of firstly, carrying out reduced pressure distillation on sulfur subjected to alkaline hydrolysis; then, adding liquid caustic soda and water, uniformly stirring, and carrying out suction filtration to obtain a filter cake; drying the filter cake to obtain sulfur as an industrial product with the purity of larger than 99.5%. The method is low in cost, high in recovery rate of ethyl chloride, reduced in field smell and suitable for large-scale industrial production. |
