Installment payment method and installment payment television

The embodiment of the invention discloses an installment payment method used for implementing installment payment of a television. An electric control system does not need to be additionally arranged, equipment cost is saved, and meanwhile resource waste after installment payment is over is also avoided. The installment payment method comprises the steps that installment duration and installment passwords of installment payment are written into a memorizer of the television, then whether the installment payment of the television is completed or not is checked, if not, the using duration is counted, whether the using duration is larger than or equal to the installment duration or not is checked, if yes, the television is locked, so that the television can not be used, and a verification password is required to be input; when the input verification passwords are the corresponding installment passwords, a microprocessor unlocks the television, the television is made to be used normally, and the using duration is
