According to the method, the PDF document is converted into a binary system and encrypted by utilizing a server, the PDF document after being converted and encrypted is stored into a relational database, the information of the PDF document is displayed in a paged mode on line by reading the bookmark information of the PDF document itself, and the functions of controlling the display page number sequence, page scaling, page rotation, page skip and the like of a PDF converted image on line are achieved. In this way, a user can browse the PDF document on line without installing software of the Adobe Company, and the display effect of the PDF document can be controlled on line.
