The method comprises detecting whether a first operation exists on a first physical key and/or whether a display unit on the electronic equipment is in an non-operation state, and obtaining a first detection result; when the first detection result shows that the first operation exists on a first physical key and/or the display unit on the electronic equipment is in an non-operation state, generating an execution instruction of a backup program for opening backups of first data, executing the execution instruction and opening the backup program. By means of the backup program, the first data can be stored in a second storage unit, so that the technical problem that the electronic equipment cannot receive corresponding backup operations when a display screen in the electronic equipment is backlit or a touch detection device cannot work in the prior art is solved.
