System and method for double display setting of computer

A method for double display setting of a computer comprises the steps of judging whether a host meets double display conditions according to hardware information of the host, and starting a double display mode of the host when meeting the double display conditions; setting two displays as a main display and an auxiliary display, setting two keyboard mouses as a main keyboard mouse and an auxiliary keyboard mouse; determining the input range of the main keyboard mouse and the input range of the auxiliary keyboard mouse, enabling the main keyboard mouse to be only used for executing input operation on the main display, and enabling the auxiliary keyboard mouse to be only used for executing input operation on the auxiliary display; and performing double display according to the setting. The invention further provides a system for double display setting of the computer. The two displays connected to the same computer host can respectively use respective keyboard mouse systems.
